Week-Ending Finale Link Up!

What a crazy week this has been! Our area was hit by massive storms all day
on Wednesday. The picture above was shared on one of my friends Facebook
Wall. There are many neighborhoods that look like this, it’s terrible. Our front
porch is broken, the front of my husbands truck was damaged, our gutter
is bent up, and we are out of cable and internet for a little while, but are
grateful to have our electricity. We were lucky, but many in our area
weren’t. It’s sad to see all the pictures of my friends houses with trees
crushing, and to drive through this town and see so much destruction!
Please keep the victims of this tornado/storm disaster in your thoughts
and prayers. There are missing people, lives lost and so many without
power right now. My heart goes out to them.

Earlier in the week, I made it out to Publix. That’s all the coupon planning
I have done this week. It was a $68 dollar trip that I got for $10!

How did you do this week?

This is the front of our house, we are lucky to have so little damage.
Our porch was completely Broken. My husband’s front of the truck
was damaged and our gutter is also broke. The Dish Satellite was also
tore off the house. Then a second tree, struck
by lightning, fell on the side of our house with more damage and
also knocked out the cable/internet box.

My husband took some video of the storm. He caught this lighting.
Paused the video and took a picture of the screen (Since we are
unable to upload the video yet) That lighting was pure evil! We
had one hit right next to our house and knocked out a tree!

As I was flipping through the latest issue of All You Magazine,
I saw a great cleaning tip I thought I would share for those
of you who don’t get this magazine, or missed this tip.

When it comes to dust, it seems to accumulate everywhere!
You may notice that it seems to pile up frequently on ceiling
fans, even if you leave them running all the time.

There are various ways to clean ceiling fan blades, but can
often lead to spreading dust around. The next time you’re
ready to remove the dust from your ceiling fan blades, grab
an old pillowcase and slip it over one of the blades, then
apply mild pressure as you pull the pillowcase off the blade.
All the dust will stay inside the case. Repeat to clean each blade.

While I was at Walgreens, I spotted a Tearpad with $1.50/1 Greeting
Card when you buy a Caffeine Free Diet Coke 20oz. and any other 20oz
Coca-Cola 20oz product. These were on the fridge doors near the Coke
products.

If you spot that coupon, and if you were able to grab a couple of the Heart
Truth Coupon booklets that were in many stores a couple months ago,
you can score a great deal on two 20oz.Cokes and a greeting card!

Here’s the deal at Publix:

Buy a 20oz Caffeine Free Diet Coke AND a 20oz Coke Product @ $1.59ea
Buy 1 Greeting Card (prices start at $0.99)
